The way most people view nutrition shakes today reminds me of the early days of Tivo.
You do know what Tivo is, right?
Okay, then we can move on with this – hate to get you confused, if I don’t have to.
Thanks to a friend of mine who was an early, early investor in Tivo I was the first Tivo install in the state of Colorado – yeah, I know… Big deal. But honestly, I’m not bragging, only telling a story.
Well, when I first received my Tivo I loved it…
Man, it was like a new lease on an old life. I’d go on and on about it with friends – and they’d tilt their heads and just stare at me like I’d lost my mind. I’m convinced that at least half of them thought I was making the whole thing up–that I’d lost it.
It didn’t bother me that few understood what I was talking about – I loved my Tivo and knew one day they’d all get it two. The way I figured the world, there where two types of people: People who owned a Tivo and loved it and those had yet get theirs and fall in love with it.
Now, you see, from where I sit, a nutrition shake is as much a part of my life as Tivo, actually more. But it offers me that similar feeling of freedom – of having my life on my terms, one without commercials and a clock to control me: The other without unhealthy fats, excess calories or a need to cook. It sets me free.
As hard as it is for me to comprehend at times, the simple fact that vast majority of people have no idea what a nutrition shake is or how it would change their lives doesn’t bother me.
For I know there are two types of people in this world: Those who are loving the strength, health and freedom that Full Strength has brought to their life and those who have yet to discover it and fall in love.
Which one are you?
